Dr Daniel Pehböck is a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine and holds the Diploma of the European Society of Anaesthesiology (DESA). As a senior physician at the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine of Innsbruck University Hospital he was responsible for comprehensive pain services and was the department's transfusion officer.
Today he works as an emergency physician and runs a private practice for pain therapy and migraine in Hall in Tirol, Austria.
For many years he has been passing on emergency medicine: as a trainer at Simulation.Tirol for emergency physicians and hospital teams, in courses for parents, companies and the public, and as a content creator. In his podcast and on YouTube he explains medicine in plain language – under the motto “knowledge saves lives”.
With Notfall & Narkose he brings this knowledge together in a reference for the coat pocket and the smartphone.
